So as part of the my attempt to do Christmas in two countries, part one meant driving through the night to Warburg to the Blume house for Christmas on the 24th the day after arriving back in Austria.

We checked out the Christmas market but my phone gave up minutes later so unfortunately this was the only picture…

Then we had a quick Christmas picture next to the German tree

I tasted my first “weinachten wurst mit sauerkraut und kartoffel” und lecker wars!

We had a great couple of days with presents, drinks including eggnog and enjoyed the festive time before jumping in the old jiggawagon and setting this as the course

That’s right. Another 6 hours in the car… And out the window it looked like this…

So as you can imagine the 6 became 8 hours….
Luckily though the mondeo made it on time and we arrived to eurotunnel “tunnel sous Le manche” amazing. 35 minutes and your in the uk ready to go and drive on the left if you remember!

Thanks for the nice Christmas Germany.. Next installment…Home
