A Day in Wales – Swansea City vs Ipswich at the Liberty Stadium

by The Good Life on April 25, 2011

in Swansea City FC

Since the last days of the Vetch Field, which had a great atmosphere, but somewhat lacking in facilities the mighty swans have called The Liberty home, and sometimes when you roll in for a game, its amazing to watch the Swans play in a brand new state of the art Stadium.
The Swans played amazing today, lots of that to come…
Any visit to Wales wouldnt be complete without the Welsh flag.  Thats the Celtic Manor, where the Ryder Cup was played last Summer.
A statue of Swans legend Ivor Allchurch, who played in the 50s and 60s for the Swans, and the supporters Trust paid for this memorial for him.
There was a lot of younger fans there today aswell, all eating their own weight in chips it seemed…
Todays post will be split in two parts, the first is just the hipstamatic shots, and there will be some more along later…
