Kevin Backstrom doing what he does best.
I just found these in my archives, all shots from last season, all of which I am pretty happy with. The one above just shows good style. Its only a shifty but if some of the riders cared more about style than spinning snowboarding would be a more diverse place.
I can’t remember the rider here, but it just shows sometimes that its not all Glory in snowboarding. When you see a QP event normally you see someone 10 metros out boosting. This kind of shows the flip side. No lights, no music, no photographers, just an icy wall.
This is longtime friend, and probably one of the people I enjoy sharing a powder day with more than anyone else, Henry Jackson, all round good guy, and legend. Watch Jacksons Hole for more of him. This is one of my idols, Thomas Eberharter, better know as Beckna. He is the nicest guy ever, an inspiration to all snowboarders because of his board control, and an inspiration to many of us, me included as a man, in how he carries himself.
