Cheers to you France.

The crew of crews.  Ilmo, Spencer, Mareike, Sani, Me, Koen, Sarah, Lucy, Stype with Mr Weaver taking the photo.  Olive and Lenny were deep in slumber by this point.  After two trips back to France from the states, and then 3 summers down here, the SW of France has quickly become one of my favoriteRead more

France 2016

Nothing sums up France better than sun, a cheeky weak beer on the beach and a naked fella getting a stroll in.  Sani just soaking it up. An evening on the grill and the terrace after a beach day pretty much sums up France pretty well too.  Stype, Sarah, Lucy, Koen, Spencer, Mareike, me, SaniRead more

Seignosse 2015

This Summer we ended up booking a trip to Europe for the infamous Atlantic Cup, a great tournament of great snowboarders who also are average football players, but it was cancelled this summer, so we were left to enjoy the South West of France, for all its wonder.  Above, Stype, Max and Vicky enjoyingRead more

France

A few more of the good stuff from France. Capbreton (definitely not me) The one and only Capbreton bunkers. These kids had another use for the bunkers, jumping into a couple of foot of water. Chez Minus

So a good friend of mine has a website called Lost in the Larder, Nick Baines, who I used to live with in a tiny cramped appartment, and he always had a penchant for food.  Be it a fry up in the morning, a late night kebab from the nightclub in Mayrhofen (yes in AustriaRead more

Hossegor – La Graviere

Angry Swell right there. So this morning I took a coffee out to check the surf and the camera and ended up down in Hossegor and watched it go off.  There was a serious crew of paparazzi down there watching it all go off. I managed to get this shot of Willy Aliotti, getting itRead more

The Atlantic Cup

This week saw the Atlantic Cup go down in Anglet, France, with teams from across the world.  We made up a Great Britain team, with some legends on the pitch for us including James Stentiford, Marcus Chapman, Adam Gendle and the Greg the rock Martin at the back alongside me.  With Ed and Alex LeighRead more

Bilbao

That right there is the outside of the Guggenheim Museum down in Bilbao.  Had to go down to Spain one afternoon, so wandered around and found this place, unfortunately though, it was shut on our day of visit.  Nice to see in the middle of tourist times that they shut. The Guggenheim has this bigRead more

Chez Minus

Out and About in France, there are a few great places to go for food, especially for seafood.  One of the best is Chez Minus in Capbreton. Everything is cooked on the Plancha.  The Mussels are cooked in an amazing Spice, which looks to be salt, pepper, chilli, pepper, oil and some secret stuff too,Read more

Surfing in the Magic Forest

So this weekend, we took a little sojorn up to the secret forest.  Well its actually not that secret because , its a gay naked beach when you get through the woods.  So its an eye opening experience.  Its worth it though as the surf is pretty quiet and always pretty good. Mareike and MrRead more
